Heaven's Warmth...a Community Effort

It takes a community of churches and local non-profits to help keep the residents of Charles City warm in the winter. We partner with Promise Land Pastures farm, Glendale Community Bible Church, Samaria Baptist Church, Peace Hill Christian Fellowship, Mechanicsville Christian Center, New Kent Christian Center, and more.

The Heaven's Warmth Wood Ministry is located at Promise Land Pastures Farm in Charles City, VA.
Volunteers for the wood ministry meet monthly to split & stack wood. Heaven's Warmth firewood is given away, free of charge. to residents in need in Charles City.

The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.'

Wood Donations

We are very thankful for all of the generous donations made to the firewood ministry. Without them, we would not be able to provide wood to those in need at NO cost. Volunteers

It takes a LOT of volunteers to keep an entire county warm in winter! We are incredibly grateful to the many individuals who invest their time splitting, stacking, & delivering wood. However, we can ALWAYS use more help! If you, your church, non-profit, or business would like to volunteer time at Promise Land Farm assisting Heaven's Warmth, Please contact Pastor Chris Luck, our Volunteer Coordinator (Below)

FYI: We could REALLY use more folks with pick-up trucks to help deliver wood to the elderly & shut-ins.

Wood Distribution

Heaven's Warmth distributes firewood for FREE to those who use wood to heat their homes and/or cook with wood stoves.

Delivery: Wood can be delivered to those who are elderly, shut-in, or lack a truck to haul wood.

Self Pick-up: Wood is available for individuals to come to Promise Land Pastures for pick-up.
