Volunteer

We are looking for individuals and couples to serve in both our Nursery and River Kid's Church at our Toano Campus and ROCkids at our Charles City Campus. Would you be interested in teaming up with a sibling, spouse or friend and have some fun ministering to our kids?
*Must be willing to have a background check 

Both campuses need a Children's Ministry Pastor/Director
We are also in need of a Nursery Director for our Toano Campus

Multiple outreaches at both of our campuses keep us BUSY! If you enjoy serving the local community and evangelizing the lost...we would love to have you join us! Our outreaches include:
Holy Smoke - both campuses
Drive Thru Prayer - both campuses
Wood Ministry - Charles City
Tiger Pack Kids - Charles City
Food Delivery - Charles City
Emergency Supplies - Charles City (Need a Coordinator)
Outreach Director for our Toano Campus

Praise & Worship - Can you skilled at playing an instrument? Do you have a gift to sing? We could use you on our Praise and Worship Team!
Sound and Media - Work with our guys in the sound booth to make our audio/visual ministry top notch
Photography - If taking cool pics are your thing...we could use your skills
for our social media and website.
Web & Video - Short clips, reels and mini-vids for our media reach

We have several opportunities for individuals who desire to serve the Body of Christ through our Hospitality Ministry.
Hospitality - Helping oversee Covered Dish Fellowships
Sunday morning refreshments & snacks
Making sure we have supplies
Ushers & Greeters - Smiling faces to greet and welcome members /guests
Connect Desk- A gathering place that offers all  that is going on at the River Church Ministries. An information hub for events in the Toano and Charles City area, big ticket items happening each month and  connecting to KC Groups. 

Caryn has been with The River for 5 years and in that time she has served our church family in a number of ways...
worship leader, Holy Smoke Ministry, women's breakfasts, Women's Conference, Eldership, church administration and more!
Caryn is always quick to help wherever there is a need and she serves with such a humble, pure, and gracious heart.
